Web site
Client: Wycap Design

About: Wycap's website is an important tool for making sales and building customer loyalty. This redesigned version of Wycap's previous site, which I also designed, eliminated a lot of body copy in favor of letting Wycap's work speak for itself.
I developed the site in Flash, which allowed me to implement some important features not possible in HTML including attractive page transitions and a dynamic gallery that grows as images are added to a specific folder on the server. A single text file stores all the copy on the site, making it possible to update copy on the site without the use of Flash—all it takes is a word processor.
The site features an interactive tour of the shop, a gallery of Wycap's work and a customized form script (utilizing PHP) that allows visitors to schedule an estimate online.
The site also remains search engine friendly through carefully chosen meta tags and a mirror image of the site created in HTML that serves as a gateway for search engine users. |
